null How are the personal data provided in connection with the creation of a MonULB account processed?
The Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB)—Avenue Roosevelt 50, 1050 Brussels, Belgium—is responsible for the processing of the personal data collected while creating your ULB account.
This means ULB complies with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, also known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The creation of your ULB account is required in order to access admission forms as well as registration forms for admission exams to bachelor programmes and engineering programmes (Polytech). The data ULB collects through your account creation form is only used for this purpose. Are concerned :
- your name, surname;
- date of birth;
- e-mail address.
This data is stored only by ULB, which takes appropriate security measures to guarantee its integrity and confidentiality. It is never shared with third parties. ULB staff may access the data strictly to the extent required for the performance of its tasks. Staff members are bound by confidentiality rules regarding all personal data processed by ULB.
Data linked to your account is not stored after 31 December of the academic year for which you are applying.
