null Who determines the priority of an IT project and in which cases?
When registering your Project Charter, the PMO's mission is to verify the absence of competition on the human, material and/or financial resources necessary for the execution of your project.
Are any of your project's resources competing with those of another current or upcoming project?
No 👉 your project can start without going through the prioritization procedure
Yes 👉 competing projects must be prioritized (A+/A/B/C/D):
- By department leadership or by faculty authorities if the competition involves projects in the same department/faculty. The follow-up of the prioritization process is the responsibility of the local PMO (or equivalent) in this case;
- By the GGIT (IT Governance Group) if the competition concerns projects from different faculties or departments or projects listed in the Digital Plan. The monitoring of the prioritization process is the responsibility of the institutional IT PMO, which will ensure that stakeholders are given the opportunity to defend the importance of their project in CBA.
